Worksite Culture Training - Improve talent acquisition, retention and productivity!
The Builders Code establishes a standard code of conduct for workers in the construction industry
construction industry in BC! It defines an ‘Acceptable Worksite’ as the starting point for reducing risk and ensuring a safe and productive environment for all workers by expanding the definition of safety to include psychological safety.
Creating an Acceptable Worksite Culture makes sense when we understand the impact of unacceptable behaviour. Having a clear grasp of how physical safety, collaboration, productivity, retention, individual mindset and attitude, and time management are affected when worksite culture is (or isn’t) functioning to its highest potential.
With Builders Code Worksite Culture Training, companies learn how to foster an environment where everyone can feel safe, included and valued as a keystone to individual and business success.
Course Content:
- Understand why negative behaviors like hazing, bullying and harassment are a safety risk
- Be able to identify and address the barriers that can prevent a psychologically safe worksite
- Learn what you can do right away to help improve the culture around you
- Learn how to reduce incidences of discrimination and bias due to age, gender, race, ethnicity, risk tolerance (COVID-19) and other factors that are unrelated to work performance
- Learn how to use the free Builders Code resources to support your efforts
