Created by the industry and for the industry, this course was developed by CCA to break down the complexity of the industry. You’ll get valuable insight into the various industry stakeholders and their roles/responsibilities, construction documents and contracts, risk management, construction law, bidding and tendering, and more!

Course Format:

Live, Online, Instructor-led training, with a class size of 16 students.

Three (3) morning sessions (four hours each) over three days:

  • Day 1: Tuesday, April 13: 8:00am-12:30pm
  • Day 2: Wednesday, April 14: 8:00am-12:30pm
  • Day 3: Thursday, April 15: 8:00am-12:30pm

This course is delivered by industry experts over three days and includes an open book exam using the Construction 101 and Beyond binder.  The final exam is to be submitted by email to leanneh@sicabc.ca 5 business days after course completion. The exam consists of 31 questions and will be be based on the material presented in both the binder and course.  

Attendance and participation in all three sessions is mandatory for course completion.
