Our instructor is trained and certified by Ives Training Group Inc.; the largest powered mobile equipment training provider in North America.
Students will receive classroom led instruction which covers basic safe operation, pre-use inspection, regulatory and industry standards, equipment components, maintenance requirements, hazard identification and an overview of the manufactures operational specifications. Upon theory completion students are required to write an exam which has a minimum pass mark of 70 percent.
Once the theory and exam are complete students will then conduct a pre-use inspection of the equipment and perform function tests as per the manufacturer. Students will then be given time on the machinery to practice basic safe operations, before being practically evaluated by the instructor. The student will then receive certification after demonstrating competency on the equipment.
Fall Protection training is recommended prior to this training.
