Southern Interior Construction Association Announces New CEO

Kelowna, BC, October 31, 2017



The Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to announce that Jason Henderson has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Southern Interior Construction Association (SICA) effective immediately.


Jason joins the organization after serving on the SICA board for the last 6 years, including 3 years as a director on the BC Construction Association board. Jason started his career as an Apprentice Electrician and worked his way through the ranks to Managing a Division. His 22 years of experience in the construction industry will be a considerable asset to SICA.  


With a leadership style that focuses on innovation and collaboration, Jason is passionate about moving SICA forward and working with stakeholders as the construction industry continues to evolve. SICA looks forward to Jason traveling the region and engaging with current and potential members.


The SICA Hiring Committee was tasked with finding the candidate best suited to take SICA into it’s next phase. After an extensive search with many qualified candidates we are pleased to have Jason accept our top position of CEO” said SICA’s Past Chair Debra Dotschkat. “We have complete confidence in Jason and know he has the industry knowledge and passion for this role. We look forward to SICA’s bright future.”
